Mr. Lutuf Abdul-Rahman is an experienced project management, research, monitoring and evaluation professional with about fourteen (14) years’ experience in designing, managing and implementing projects with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and government agencies. This experience also covers the conduction baselines, evaluations and research.
Lutuf is an adaptable team player with strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, full of initiatives and always willing to learn new things. He has excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking and leadership skills.
He has good understanding of the Ghanaian Agriculture, Economic Development, Health, Education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Local Governance Systems and experience working with both government and non-government actors in these systems. Mr. Abdul-Rahman has successfully worked with partners from the Ghana Health Service, Ghana Education Service, the Ghana School Feeding Programme, the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and many other government and non-governmental agencies to implement several projects and programmes across the country.
He is experienced in identifying and developing from scratch innovative research and interventions programmes and leading their implementation as well as providing monitoring and evaluation support to local NGOs. Mr. Abdul-Rahman has a track record in leading and managing research; baseline and evaluation studies in health, education, gender, child rights and protection, health, agriculture, advocacy, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and livelihoods.
Mr Abdul-Rahman is a proficient user of Nvivo, SPSS and Epi Info and has used it in several data analyses. He is also able to design and use mobile phone data collection application tools such as Kobo Collect and Survey CTO.
He has experience working and consulting in Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia and Zambia, Ethiopia and Bangladesh.
In terms of donor focus, Mr Abdul-Rahman has worked on projects and research funded by the Dutch Government, European Union, USAID, DFID, Global Affairs Canada, UN System, GIZ, Dubai Cares, and Bills and Melinda Gates Foundation.
